Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reactivity of calcium hydroxide. SOLUTION: In the case of producing calcium hydroxide by adding water to calcium oxide and digesting, at least one kind of an additive selected from a group composed of an oxycarboxylic acid, an oxycarboxylate, saccharides, ethylene glycols, ethanol amines, glycerine, succinic acid, a metal succinate and a ligninsulfonate is added to calcium oxide by 0.1-10wt.% per calcium oxide and a 1st digestion reaction is performed by adding excess water wore than the digestion equivalent, and then a 2nd digestion reaction is performed by adding calcium oxide powder to allow it to react with excess water and the dehydration and the drying by utilizing the heat of hydration reaction are carried out, and the additive is added previously to the calcium oxide powder.
