Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate respectively an alkyloxyanthrone and an alkyltetrahydroanthrone into an alkylanthraquinone and an alkyltetrahydroanthroaquinone epoxide into an alkyltetrahydroanthraquinone in the production of hydrogen peroxide by an anthraquinone method. SOLUTION: The regenerating method of an actuating solution is by treating the actuating solution before reduction at 40-150 deg.C in the presence of a catalyst consisting essentially of γ-alumina at the time of producing hydrogen peroxide by alternately reducing and oxidizing the actuating solution containing the alkylanthraquinone and the alkyltetrahydroanthraquninone as anthraquinones.
