COUNTERWEIGHT GUIDE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counterweight guide device that can guide a counterweight along a guide rail using four rolling rollers. SOLUTION: The outer peripheral part of a rolling roller 12a of a guide device 10a is provided with an engaging groove 13 formed in U-shape so as to be engaged with a head part 7a of a guide rail 7, and the width dimension of this engaging groove 13 is set slightly larger than the width dimension of the head part 7a of the guide rail 7. A bottom part 13a of the engaging groove 13 thereby rolls along the end face of the head part 7a of the guide rail 7 so as to receive load in the protruding direction of the head part 7a. and side faces 13b, 13C of the engaging groove 13 slide along both side faces of the head part 7a so as to receive load in an orthogonal direction to the protruding direction of the head part 7a. Other guide devices are also constituted in the same way. Workability at the time of installing a counterweight and at the time of maintenance of equipment in an elevator shaft can thereby be improved.
