NEW SYNCHRONOUS TRANSMISSION NETWORK SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a transmission facility managing data base(DB) and to reduce manual work in the case of constructing it by automatically preparing and changing the transmission facility managing DB. SOLUTION: Only by transmitting commands for collecting information from an operation system 23 through interposing means 14 and 19 to respective new synchronous transmitters 16, 18, 20 and 21, the device information of respective devices is written from the new synchronous transmitter 16 at the head of a transmitter connection route into section overhead to be transmitted among the new synchronous transmitters while being added. When the device information of the final device is written, the device information of all the new synchronous transmitters 16, 18, 20 and 21 is transmitted to the operation system 23 and at the operation system 23, the respective pieces of device information are automatically registered on the connection managing table of a DB 24 corresponding to the connection route.
