Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and light-weight sound absorption and insulation body which has high strength and high sound absorption characteristics. SOLUTION: Various kinds of inorganic aggregates are mixed with a binding agent such as various kinds of cement and resin appropriately to form into a flat plate so as to form a multi-porous body 2. The inorganic aggregate is a waste material of light-weight aggregate and various kinds of inorganic material such as inorganic foaming particles obtained by baking and foaming single grain degree crushed stone, silica sand, and foaming inorganic glass material. The cement includes ordinary portland cement, blast furnace cement, and fly ash cement. The resin includes phenol resin, melamine resin, unsaturated polyester resin, and epoxy resin. A concrete 3 is rectangular and like a flat plate and is provided with ribs 4 which protrude like a wall at the center thereof along a peripheral fringe of one plan and the longitudinal direction. The concrete 3 and the multiporous body 2 are attached integrally through a predetermined air layer 6 between the ribs 4, 4 by using mortar and adhesive. Consequently, a peak value of sound absorption and insulation rate is transferred to a frequency region of noise by the air layer 6 to absorb and insulate sound efficiently.
