PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve inconvenience that a program which is view-reserved is charged, although it is not actually viewed and to enable the secure view a desired program by preventing the locking of operation/display parts at a view reservation mode at the time of receiving television broadcasting, executing a view reservation operation in a power-on state and preventing the execution of the view reservation operation in the power-off state. SOLUTION: In the broadcasting reception device of a digital system, a control means 4 is provided with a function for controlling the respective parts of the device and supporting a user for selecting the program or a channel. A signal from a remote controller 6 is received and decoded by a remote control reception part 7, and it is transferred to the control means 4. The presence or absence of the locking of the operation and on-screen display or the presence or absence of the operation when power is turned off, is set according to whether the user selects a recording reservation mode or the view reservation mode, and the prescribed operation is executed.
