PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the entry operability by displaying entered numerals in a special display form such as a different color, shape or frame form with respect to a usual display form in the case of entry of numerals such as a channel or a password. SOLUTION: A control means 4 selects the channel input mode, sets '1' to a flag F1 to store the selection of the channel input mode, an image generating means 8 generates a numeral corresponding to an entered numeral key and displays a numeral of a 3rd digit of the channel number to a 1st digit display position at a corner of a screen of a display means 10. When the channel input mode is selected, the image generating means 8 revises its display state into a state different from the usual mode. For example, a numeral having been displayed in blue in the usual mode is displayed in red in the channel input mode. Or a design of the numeral may be changed or a background color or a color/shape of a frame may be changed. Or the display is blinked. Or a hyphen may be displayed on a display position of a 2nd digit and a 3rd digit.
