THERMAL FUSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal fuse having excellent thermal response, regarding a thermal fuse to be installed in electronic circuits of various kinds of electric appliances. SOLUTION: This thermal fuse comprises a fuse unit consisting of a fusible alloy 22 electrically connected through lead wires having bent parts 21 in one sides, a case 24 which houses the fuse unit, has an aperture part 25 and a stage or tapered part 26 toward the outside in the end part, and a seal member 27 to seal the aperture part 25 of the case 24. In the thermal fuse, the heat due to soldering is not transmitted to the fusible alloy but radiated, and on the other hand, the thermal fuse has excellent thermal response, that is quick transmission of heat at the time of heat generation in an abnormal state.
