Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve such problem occurring in conventional case that it is impossible to detect the erosion of a cooling plate unless many temp. measuring resistant bodies are set and impossible to lower a cost of the whole device and to facilitate the maintenance because the temp. variation of cooling water is detected with the temp. measuring resistant body, for preventing the erosion of the cooling plate in the furnace body. SOLUTION: In an observing method for preventing the erosion of the cooling plate in the furnace body and the device therefor, a fixed jig 11 is arranged to pipe group 3 from the cooling plates 2 or to drainage pipes 4. Vibration at the time of boiling the cooling water in the cooling plate 2 is detected with a sensor 9 arranged at the extending end 11a of the fixed jig 11 and even the boiling in any plate among the whole cooling plates 2 is detected, thus to surely prevent the erosion.
