Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an uneven gap from being produced between a welt for a vehicle and interior components, reduce the cost price, assure an easy coloring as well as improve the appearance quality. SOLUTION: In a welt 1 for vehicle in which a welt proper 12 is formed in substantially U shape in cross section and comprises two pinching element 12a, 12b which pinches a flange 2a constituting the terminal edge of a body panel, the outside-faces of the pinching elements 12a which are positioned on the compartment side IN when mounting on the flange 2a are abutting faces 12d for an interior component 3, a hollow portion 12e is formed on the inside of the abutting faces of the pinching elements 12a, and the welt proper 12 is composed of polyvinyl chloride.
