GAS-LIQUID SEPARATOR IN PIPING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-liquid separator which is excellent in gas-liquid separation performance and is inexpensive. SOLUTION: A gas-liquid separator inserted in mid-way piping 2 is constituted of a pipe body part 4 having a flow passage 3 along the line 2, a separation pipe part 6 provided hung down in the intermediate part of the pipe body part 4 and also having a separation chamber 5 communicating with the flow passage 3, a baffle plate 8 hung down so that it projects from the pipe body part 4 and into the separation chamber 5 of the separation pipe part 6 and also provided with a communicative hole 7 for passing gas in a place corresponding to the flow passage 3, a liquid discharge port 10 provided in the bottom part of the separation pipe part 6, and a float body 12 ascendably and descendably arranged in a guide cylinder 11 provided above the discharge port 10 and ascending and descending between a closing position at which the discharge port 10 is closed and an open position at which the discharge port is opened.
