Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal fuse by which a clearance is hardly generated in a boundary between a sealing member and an insulating member by arranging a second insulating member to cover a boundary between the sealing member and the insulating member. SOLUTION: A thermal fuse unit is composed of first and second lead wires 15 and 16 and fusible alloy 13. A case 17 houses at least the fusible alloy 13, and has an opening part 18 to pull out the first and second lead wires 15 and 16, and is formed of ceramics or the like. The opening part 18 of this case 17 is sealed by a sealing member 19 composed of thermosetting resin. The sealing member 19 is arranged so as to taper as it separates from the case 17. The first and the second lead wires 15 and 16 are covered with a first insulating member 20, and a boundary between the sealing member 19 and the first insulating member 20 is covered with a second insulating member 21 composed of thermosetting resin. The sealing member 19 and the second insulating member 21 are desirable to be the same construction material. Therefore, insulating performed is held to bending of the lead wires.
