SOLUTION: After an internal combustion engine EG is started (step S12), a compressor of an air conditioner which is an auxiliary machine is switched from the OFF condition to the ON condition (step S150) to give the load fluctuation to the internal combustion engine, to increase the volume of the sucked air, and increase the fuel injection. The change NE in the engine speed of the internal combustion engine EG before and after the compressor is turned ON (step S170), and the fuel property is determined (S180-Ss196) according to the magnitude of ΔNE. Because the fuel injection can be increased by turning on the compressor, the change in the speed of the internal combustion engine according to the fuel property to facilitate the judgment of the fuel property. |
