PARTIAL PLATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partial plating device capable of preventing partial plating defect such as the generation of plating metallic grain. SOLUTION: The plating device is provided with a sparger 1 having an opening 10, to which a plating solution L is supplied from the inside, and a mask sponge part 3 holding a plate-like material F to be plated having a through part with the sparger 1 and covering the through part and the mask sponge 3 is formed out of a foamed silicone rubber. The generation of silver grain on a part except the material F to be plated is prevented by the insulating or water repellent property of the silicone rubber. And masking is properly performed and the deposition out of the area and the partial unplated defect are prevented by using the mask sponge 3 12-16 deg. in rubber hardness.
