AUTOMATIC HIGH-RISE WAREHOUSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten conveyance cycle time of a cassette or a work when there are at least two carrying-in/out stations. SOLUTION: Two drawing-out devices 3a, 3b are fitted at a traveling carriage 1 for two carrying-in/out stations 81, 82 which are fitted in parallel. When one carrying-in/out station 81 is empty and there is a cassette in the other carrying-in/out station 82, one drawing-out device 3a draws out the cassette from a storage rack 2 and carries it out into the carrying-in/out station 81 and at the same time, the cassette in the other carrying-in/out station 82 is drawn out by the other drawing-out device 3b. The traveling carriage 1 is moved and the cassette which is drawn out by the drawing-out device 3b is put in the storage rack 2 for storage. When both the carrying-in/out stations 81, 82 are empty, the cassette is drawn out from the storage rack 2 by both the drawing devices 3a, 3b at the same time and carried-out into both the carrying-in/out stations 81, 82 at the same time.
