ELECTRIC RAZOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from feeling a fear or anxiety and to protect both blade tips from falling damages by the upward attitude of an edge shaving unit for enabling use together with a razor main blade. SOLUTION: In the upward attitude of the edge shaving unit 12 for enabling the use together with the razor main blade 5, the blade tips 19a and 20a of the fixed and movable comb blades of the edge shaving unit 12 are covered with the comb-shaped teeth 25 of a comb 13. In a laid attitude for enabling the independent use of the edge shaving unit 12, since the blade tips 19a and 20a are exposed, edge shaving is performed without being obstructed by the comb 13. The covered state and the exposed state of the blade tips 19a and 20a by the comb 13 are automatically switched by relatively moving the edge shaving unit 12 and the comb 13 accompanying the attitude changeover of the edge shaving unit 12.
