SLIDE RAIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide rail having a simple structure, easy to fit, excellent in productivity, and capable of being manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: Guide projections 53, 53 guide the rear end section of an inside rail 2 when the inside rail 2 is fitted to an outside rail 1, retainer hold sections 6 hold a ball retainer 3 at the front end section of the outside rail 1 when the inside rail 2 is extracted from the outside rail 1, and the inside rail 2 are most stored in the outside rail 1. An elastic stopper section 7 kept in contact with the inner face of the front end stopper 23 of the inside rail 2 is made of a synthetic resin material integrally with a stopper member 5, the retainer hold sections 6 are protruded to the retainer 3 side from the rear end of the base plate 51 of the stopper member 5 into pressure contact with the front end section of the base plate 31 of the retainer 3 from the inside rail 2 side, and a taper face made thin at the tip is formed on the base plate 31 side of the retainer 3.
