Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the control precision of plate thickness and tension by making disturbance feed forward control and feedback control cooperate. SOLUTION: The outlet side plate thickness and inlet side tension of a stand to be controlled are simultaneously controlled by the drawing down operation of the stand to be controlled and the roll speed operation of a stand in a preceding stage. At that time, a feedback control making respective detected values of the outlet side plate thickness and inlet side tension of the stand to be controlled follow up to target values according to deviations to the target values by a feedback controller 52 and a feed forward control compensating by feed forwarding an influence by an unknown disturbance estimated value estimated by using a model by a disturbance feed forward controller 54, are simultaneously performed. And, in the feedback control, the influence quantity of the feed forward control is predicted by using a model 60 to be controlled, and values C to E obtained by deducting a predicted value from an actual result value, are feeded back.
