METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RECEIVING INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information for a user while maintaining the secrecy without increasing the burden on the information providing side by filtering information data according to a customized profile when the information data are distributed. SOLUTION: A reception part 102 receives digital data distributed by the information providing side by the corresponding reception system and passes them through a filter 103. The profile 106 includes materials of a terminal for deciding whether or not the digital data are received and the digital data contain added reception conditions; and the filter 103 checks how much the digital data are adaptive by matching the conditions in the digital data against the profile and stores the digital data in a storage area 104 when the conditions are met or discards them when not. The digital data stored in the storage area 104 are called by the user. Namely, once the digital data are distributed, the data are filtered according to the customized profile 106.
