Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure high sensitivity and stable running performance even in very rapid processing by using a specified silver halide photographic sensitive material. SOLUTION: This sensitive material has photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers including at least one layer in which silver halide particles each having >=30mol% silver chloride content and (100) principal planes parallel to each other account for >=50% of the total projection area of all silver halide particles and a compd. represented by the formula is contained. The total thickness of all the hydrophilic colloidal layers of this sensitive material after processing is reduced to 50-70% of that before processing. In the formula, each of R1 and R2 is hydroxyl, mercapto, an optionally substd. amino, optionally substd. acylamino, optionally substd. alkylsulfonylamino, optionally substd. arylsulfonylamino, etc., and X is a group of atoms required to form an optionally substd. 5- or 6-membered ring. |
