Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic coating apparatus in which the supply of a coating material in the peripheral direction of the tip of a knife edge part is averaged to make uniform the thickness of the coating material and the coating material is atomized as uniform particles. SOLUTION: In an electrostatic coating apparatus, a coating material fed to the inner peripheral surface of a rotary cup 1 is transferred forward in a thin film state with the rotation of the rotary cup 1 and is electrostatically atomized from a knife edge part 12 at the tip of the rotary cup 1. An opening angle between adjacent air feeding holes 6 among plural air feeding holes 6 provided on the rotary cup 1 and radially formed in the radial direction is made constant. Plural coating material feeding holes 4 are formed on the bottom part of the rotary cup in the peripheral direction at fixed intervals. The coating material feeding holes 4 and the air feeding holes 6 are alternately arranged every other in the peripheral direction, and each of the coating feeding holes 4 are arranged between the adjacent air feeding holes 6.
