Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fibrillated composite fiber having dry-touch cotton- or linen-like feeling. SOLUTION: This fibrillated composite fiber is obtained as a composite fiber obtained by blend-spinning of mutually insoluble polyester and polyamide at a ratio within the range of (30:70) to (70:30) by wt., by treating the composite fiber with an alkali to elute and remove a part of the polyester in the fiber, thus producing fibrils in fiber surfaces, in such embodiments that (1) the polyester is a copolymer of a component that contains a metal salt of organic sulfuric acid, and that (2) the fibrils produced after the alkali treatment have thickness of 0.0001-0.05 denier, and are confounded with each other so as to form networks on external surfaces of the single-fiber aggregates. |
