Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic powder briquette capable of reutilizing as a metallic resource at a low cost by kneading a mixture of a metallic powder with a waste plastics and after melting the plastics with frictional heat performing compacting and molding. SOLUTION: A mixture is prepared by mixing 91-99% metallic powder containing a raw material ore powder, a magnetically separated powder or the like with 1-9% thermoplastic waste plastics. The mixture is kneaded and melted with the frictional mixture in the state melted by kneading. A high speed kneader or the like is used to knead, the temp. of the mixture is controlled to 150-190 deg.C, the resident time for kneading is 3-13min. As a result, the high strength, high bulk density metallic powder briquette is obtained. The metallic powder briquette is charged into a blast furnace, a converter, an electric furnace or the like to effectively recover a metal such as iron.
