Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a disoxidizer, consisting essentially of a specific compound, useful for preserving a food and carrying out the insect repellent, etc., of a fur. SOLUTION: This disoxidizer consists essentially of a terpene compound having double bond. For example, a monoterpene compound such as α-pinene or β-pinene, a sesquiterpene compound such as longifolene, a diterpene and a triterpene compounds such as camphorene are cited as the terpene compound. A solid porous substance, e.g. diatomaceous earth is impregnated with the terpene compound together with a promoter or a retarder in order to control the reaction with oxygen to produce the disoxidizer.
