Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain a composition useful as a biodegradable plastic molding material excellent in flexibility at a low cost by refluxing a lactide generated as a by-product during the reaction process to the reaction system. SOLUTION: This lactic acid polymer composition containing lactic acid polymer of a weight-average mol.wt. of 50,000-200,000 and a solvent high in a vacuum boiling point is obtained by polycondensing lactic acid in the solvent, while a lactide generated as a by-product during the reaction process is refluxed to the reaction system. The solvent is the one having a boiling point of 250-350 deg.C under the atmospheric pressure, e.g. dibutyl phthalate, and is preferably added in an amount of 5-25 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the lactic acid oligomer. |
