Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a sliding point so as to prevent a failure and to simplify structure so as to reduce a cost in a caster whose wheel can be displaced between the movable position and the brake position. SOLUTION: A caster is constructed of a mounting base plate 2 and a supporting yoke 3, and a wheel 5 is journalled to the supporting yoke 3 installed beneath the mounting base plate 2 via a bearing part freely rotationally. The caster can be displaced between the brake position Z, in which the center of the wheel 5 is matched with the axial line X extending in the vertical direction of the bearing part, and the movable position Y, in which the center of the wheel 5 is eccentric from the axial line X. The supporting yoke 3 consisting of a yoke main body 3A, which is installed to the mounting base plate 2 via the bearing part and is provided with left and right side wall parts, and an auxiliary yoke 3B, which is pivoted to the side wall parts of the yoke main body 3A and journals the wheel 5, is provided with a brake member 6 which is hung between a pair of side wall parts in the yoke main body 3A and collides against a tread face of the wheel 5 when the wheel 5 is shifted to the brake position Z.
