Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve the occurrence of fading noise due to rapid fluctuation in a radio wave propagation path resulting from fading or the like by providing a changeover means to set/clear gain control of a high frequency signal amplifier means by a gain control means. SOLUTION: The receiver is provide with a switch 16 turning on/off an output of a high frequency amplifier gain control section 15 and with a central processing unit(CPU) 17 controlling the changeover of the switch 16. Then an RSSI signal extracted from an intermediate frequency amplifier 10 is given to the control section 15 and the control section 15 detects the electric field strength of a received high frequency signal based on the received RSSI signal to control a high frequency amplifier 2 via the switch 16 thereby controlling the high frequency signal at processing level to be given to a 1st mixer 4. In this case, the switch 16 is closed for an area where effect of intermodulation is high so that the control section 15 conducts gain control of the amplifier 2, while the switch 16 is turned off for an area where the effect of intermodulation is small so that the gain control of the amplifier 2 by the control section 15 is inhibited. |
