Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize speedy restoration by early detecting the generation of failure and estimating a leaking place and a leaking quantity in the maintenance management of a pipe network transporting fluid. SOLUTION: Many intelligent sensors 10 provided with a radio communication function and a water leakage estimation function are installed on the pipe line of the pipe line network 8 so that each sensors 10 mutually cooperates with an adjacent sensor to distributively detect water leakage and transmits this result to a management center 20. A water leakage managing equipment 26 receives the result through a communication equipment 36, outputs an alarm to a supervisor 32 and outputs the result. In addition a water distribution controller 37 remote-controls a valve based on water leakage information.
