Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure for connecting cables wherein access to a core wire connecting section can be obtained without using tools such as a screw driver and which provides a good airtightness. SOLUTION: In a closure 1 for connecting cables wherein a closure case 2 is constituted of a base member 10 and a cover member 60 mounted on the base member 10, lead-in holes 14, 15 are formed in the base member 10 and then rubber-or elastomer-made bushes are set in the holes 14, 15 and caps 21, 22 are removably installed by letting fitting claws fit in with fitting holes 16a, 17a of fitting pieces 16, 17 of the base member 10. The bushes being held by these caps 21, 22, a cable is inserted into the case 2 through the caps 21, 22 and the bushes. At the same time, fitting claws 62 of the cover member 60 are fit in with fitting holes 33a of fitting pieces 33 of the base 10 to removably install the cover member 60 on the base member 10. Then, a seal ring 38 which is made of rubber, etc., is set between the cover member 60 and the base member 10.
