TEMPORARY SEALING TOOL FOR BROKEN HOLE OF PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal a broken hole without stopping the gas flow by providing a dispersion pipe which communicates with the space surrounded by a sealing member of an attached surface and providing the dispersion pipe with a belt for pressing and fixing a shut-off valve and an attaching plate on the outer surface of the pipe. SOLUTION: When a broken hole 23 is made in a gas pipe and gas leaks, a recessed surface of the attaching plate 3 of a temporary sealing tool 1 for the broken hole of a pipe is put on the outer surface of a pipe 21. A sealing member 5 is pressed on the outside of the broken hole 23 such that it covers the outside of the broken hole 23, when a shut-off valve 9 of a dispersion pipe 7 remains open. Next, two belts 15 are wound around the pipe 21 and the attaching plate 3 at both side of the plate 3 and the sealing member 5 is put into close contact with the outer surface of the pipe 21 and the belt 15 is fastened, when gas dispersing out from the broken hole 23 is dispersed through the dispersion pipe 7. Last, a cock of the shut-off valve 9 is closed to stop the gas from dispersing through the dispersion pipe 7.
