Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dine polymer which does not contain a gel by mixing an aq. surfactant soln., a free-radical-polymerizable monomer component contg. a free-radical-polymerizable diene monomer, and an azo free-radical polymn. initiator and polymerizing the monomer component. SOLUTION: One hundred (100) pts.wt. component comprising 1-30wt.% aq. surfactant soln. and 70-99wt.% free-radical-polymerizable monomer component contg. a free-radical-polymerizable diene monomer and 0.01-10 pts.wt. azo free- radical polymn. initiator are mixed to give a high-concn. emulsion comprising a continuous phase formed from the surfactant soln. and a disperse phase formed from the monomer component. Then the monomer component in the emulsion is polymerized to give a granular diene polyerm compd., which is dehydrated to give a bulk diene polymer. A rubber-reinforced thermoplastic resin is obtd. by polymerizing 10-99wt.% free-radical-polymerizable vinyl monomer in the presence of 1-90wt.% above-obtd. granular diene polymer compsn. |
