Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the temp. of a cast sheet at the inlet side of an in-line hot-rolling mill and obtain the hot-rolled thin steel sheet having little variation of the sheet thickness precision and the quality by arranging a looper part constituted of inner part water-cooling rolls between casting rolls and the hot- rolling mill and changing contacting length with the cast steel sheet. SOLUTION: The cast steel sheet 5 cast with the casting rolls 2, 2', is rolled with the hot-rolling mill 13 after passing through the looper part 12 composed of three pieces of rolls 10, 11, 10' and wound as coil-state with a coiler 14. Control of the cooling temp. of the cast sheet is executed with the looper part 12. In order to cool the cast sheet, at least carrying rolls 10, 10' are necessary to be the inner part water cooling type, and as necessary, in order to increase the cooling capacity, the lower roll, too is desirable to be the water cooling structure. Further, the inner water cooling of each roll can be made to turn on/off, and thus, the cooling control of the cast slab becomes easier. The contacting length of the rolls in the looper part with the cast sheet is varied by vertically moving the looper rolls 11.
