DISCARDING TREATMENT OF TRAVELING TRACK AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute the discarding treatment of traveling tracks and make the device simpler and smaller over the entire part. SOLUTION: The discarding treatment device 11 for the traveling tracks is composed of a cutting device 21, a second transporting device 32, a notching device 45, an induction heating device 50 and a track separating device 61. The extremely long traveling tracks are previously divided to small track pieces by the cutting device 21. These track pieces are subjected to a heat treatment by the induction heating device 50 and the separating treatment, etc., of the track pieces by the track separating device 61. As a result, the size over the entire part of the device is reduced and the energy required for the heat treatment and the track separating treatment is decreased. The greate reduction of the cost required for the discarding treatment of the traveling tracks is thus made possible.
