Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an air massager, which massages human bodies by feeding and exhausting air to and from air bags placed in an air mat to expand and contract the bags, to switch air more effectively, while making the device inexpensive and easy to use. SOLUTION: Cords are printed using reflective ink 30 on an encoder plate 25 used for positioning a rotary valve 20 that feeds and exhausts air to and from each air bag 51. Since strips of cords can be provided by providing the reflective cords 30, positioning can be effected more effectively, and the number of detecting base 15 can be reduced to one. Also, since the cords can be formed by printing, the cost of the encoder plate can be reduced, so that an inexpensive, easy-toahandle air massager that ensures air control can be provided.
