DEVICE FOR IMAGING SPEEDING CAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device for imaging a speeding car which makes a sensor such as a laser unnecessary for measuring the speed of the car. SOLUTION: In an imaging part 9' images a running car continuously by a constant cycle, and its image data 10' is inputted onto a plate detecting part 15 and an image storing part 11. In the plate detecting part 15, the positions of the number plate are detected continuously, and the speed 6 is found in a speed measuring part 3' by the change of the plate positions in the images by the passage of time. Besides, whether the speed 6 exceeds a regulation speed 7 is judged in an excess judging part 5. If it is found by the judgment result that it exceeds the regulation speed 7, the image data 13 of the speeding car stored in the image storing part 11 is transmitted to a regulating section through an image transmitting part 12 and a transmission line 14.
