WET TYPE DEVELOPING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type developing device capable of making a toner yield larger than that in a conventional device. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a developer tank 20 housing a liquid developer (developer) obtained by dispersing toner in a solvent and uses a wet type two-component developing system for supplying the developer from the developer tank to developing rollers 31 and 32, to actualize a latent image on an image carrier 1. In this case, the developer tank 20 has the attachment of a toner supplying container 21 housing a toner liquid obtained by dispersing a high-density nonvolatile contents of toner in the solvent and a developer supplying container 24 storing the developer obtained by incorporating nonvolatile contents of toner in the solvent. The toner solid is incorporated in the developer in the developer supplying container as well, so that the toner yield can be increased. The density of the nonvolatile contents of the toner in the developer in the container 24 is equal to or lower than that of the toner in the developer in the developer tank 20.
