Zusammenfassung: | Aliphatic di-isocyanate adducts of formula BCONH(NHCONHR'NHCONHR(NCO))nNHCOB1-x (I), completely or partly blocked with epsilon -caprolactam (ECL) and chain-extended with aliphatic and/or cycloaliphatic diamines, in which R = -CH2-CHMe-(CH2)3-, -CH2-CHEt-(CH2)2-, -(CH2)6-, -CH2-CMe2-CH2-CHMe-CH2-CH2-, -CH2-CHMe-CH2-CMe2-CH2-CH2- or -(CH2)4-CHMe-(CH2)4-; R' = 2-16C alkylene or cycloalkylene; B = a group of formula (II); n = 1-3; and x = 0-0.5 are new. Also claimed are (i) a process for the production of (I), by reacting the di-isocyanate first with ECL at 80-150 degrees C and then adding the diamine in portions; (ii) heat-curable powder materials containing (a) 100 pts. wt. polymer with more than two OH groups, (b) 15-60 pts. wt. adduct (I), (c) 0-160 pts. wt. pigments, (d) 0-200 pts. wt. fillers, (e) 0-5 pts. wt. catalyst and (f) 0.5-5 pts. wt. flow improver; and (iii) adducts (I) obtained by reacting di-isocyanate with ECL and then with diamine. |
