ARM REST FOR SEAT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm rest for a seat capable of supporting an arm stably in reclining movement, by storing a second arm rest into a first arm rest or a back rest in non-reclining motion and extending the arm rest 2 toward another side of the back rest in reclining movement. SOLUTION: A back rest 20 is supported on the rear end part of each bottom frame 11 of this seat 10 to allow reclining motion. A first arm rest 40 of the center arm rest is fixed onto the bottom frame 11 and a first arm rest 40a of the side arm rest is fixed on the opposite side. On the side part of the back rest 20, a second arm rest 50 is store in a condition rotatable between the stored position and the extended position. The second arm 50 is stored in a storing dent 24 and the back face thereof connect smoothly constituting on the whole face of the back rest 20. At the extended position, the tip part of the second arm rest 50 abuts on the rear end of the first arm rest part 40 to smoothly connect with the surfaces of the first and second arm rest surfaces continuously.
