Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide flow-in water to an outlet smoothly to prevent the occurrence of stagnation by providing an inlet and the outlet in end plates in the front and rear of a cylindrical water storage tank and providing a circular shield plate of which diameter is specific percentage of an inside diameter of the water storage tank in the vicinity of the end plate on the outlet side. SOLUTION: End plates 21b, 21c which are slightly round are mounted on both sides of a cylindrical tank 21a to form a water storage tank 21 for water works. An inlet 21ba through which water of the water works from a main pipe of the water works flows through a bypass pipe when the pipes are embedded in the ground is provided at the center of the end plate 21b on one hand, and an outlet 21ca having the same diameter as the inlet 21ba is provided at the center of the end plate 21c on the other hand. Moreover, a disclike shield plate 22 of which diameter is 60 to 80% of an inside diameter of the tank 21a is installed in the vicinity of a connection position of the tank 21a and the end plate 21c. Water of the water works which flows in through the inlet 21ba becomes a stream like a jet stream, flows to the outlet 21ca, and is guided to the outlet 21ca smoothly without causing a stagnation region.
