Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline protecting layer for protecting an underground structure from the acidic ground. SOLUTION: An alkaline grout material solution and a gelling agent solution are injected and mixed to form a protecting layer 3 to an acidic ground 1. The protecting layer 3 is a water shielding grout layer, which contains an alkali generated by gelling of the grout material in such a manner as to be leachable. An alkali silicate can be used as the grout material, and a compound such as bicarbonates, bisulfates, biphosphates, esters, dialdehydes, cement, cement slag, slag-lime, and/or lime-gypsum can be used as the gelling agent. As an auxiliary, chlorides, sulfates, carbonates, phosphates and/or soluble alkali hydroxides may be added.
