CLEANING CLOTH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease transportation costs by providing a cleaning cloth which is made of an absorbent like a compressed layered adsorbent nonwoven cloth, absorbent cotton or absorbent fabric, etc., packed into a wrapping bag of a plastic film to be sealed according to the degree of compression, arranged to make water absorbed up to a suitable degree when in use and used as a wet cleaning cloth. SOLUTION: A cotton nonwoven fabric 1, whose unit weight is about 32g/m , is cut into size of about 200mm×300mm and the width of 200mm is folded into quarters, longitudinally rolled under pressure or formed in compression into a roll-shaped layered body 2 and which forms a water absorbent A. The water absorbent A is wrapped with a pillowcase-shaped wrapping bag 3 of a plastic film and a suitable number of water absorption holes 4 are formed on the wrapping bag 3. This cleaning cloth in the sealing wrapping bag 3 is soaked in hot water and the nonwoven fabric 1 absorbs water from the water absorption holes 4. The amount of the absorbed water can be adjusted according to the degree of compression and the sealing degree of the wrapping bag 3. Further the nonwoven fabric 1 is warmed by a microwave oven for a steaming effect after absorbing water by soaking.
