Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a device to heat lubricating oil so as to shorten the warm-up time for an automobile engine. SOLUTION: A heater 23 which is energized and controlled according to the value detected by a thermo sensor to detect an oil temperature is installed in a main gallery 18 of an engine. Because oil is heated before it is branched to each lubricating point, each part of the engine is heated uniformly and rapidly so as to reduce a warming up time. Also, because air is not present in the main gallery 18 as in an oil pan, only oil can be heated. Thus the power of a battery is not consumed wastefully.
