Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of the optimum furnace pressure improving unit requirement of fuel by executing the optimum furnace pressure control for heating each steel material to a target temp. corresponding to the temp. variation of each steel material developed in the case of heating continuously cast slabs and hot charge materials in a heating furnace at random and in the continuous condition. SOLUTION: In the heating furnace partitioned into the upper part and the lower part interposing a material passage in a preheating zone, heating zone and soaking zone to heat the material by passing through those zones in order, burners are arranged at the upper part and the lower part in the heating zone and the soaking zone. A correlation between combustion load quantity (COG quantity) and the furnace pressure is controlled in the range of the figure by a furnace pressure control damper for controlling the pressure, arranged at the upper part of the soaking zone.
