Compsn. (C), contg. (a) a halogen-contg. polymer (possibly recycled), (b) zeolite(s) in the alkali form other than zeolite A, Na12Al12Si12O48.27H2O and clinoptilolite Na6Al6Si30O72.2H2O, (c) organic Zn, Al or rare earth cpd(s). and/or (d) organo-tin cpd(s). of formula (I)-(VII), in which R, R = 1-12C alkyl or 3-11C alkoxycarbonylethyl; Q = S or OCO; if Q = S, R = 8-18C alkyl, -R -COOR or -R -OCOR ; if Q = OCO, R = 1-18C alkyl, 2-18C alkenyl, Ph, (1-4C alkyl)-substd. Ph or -CH=CH-COOR ; R = CH2, CH2CH2 or o-phenylene; R = 5-18C alkyl; R = 1-18C alkyl, 5-7C cycloalkyl or benzyl; if Q = S, R = CH2, CH2CH2 or o-phenylene; if Q = OCO, R = 1-8C alkylene, o-phenylene or -CH=CH-; R = 2-4C alkylene, or 4-6C alkylene with in-chain -O-; R = 1-18C alkyl, 2-18C alkenyl, Ph, (1-4C alkyl)-substd. Ph or -CH=CH-COOR ; X = -O- or -OCO-R -COO-; R = as for R ; p = 1 or 2; q = (4-p)/2; r = more than 1; i = 1 or 2; j = 1-6; k = 1-3 ; m = 1-4. Also claimed is : (i) a stabiliser mixt. contg. components (b), (c) and/or (d); (ii) the prodn. of stabilised polymer (a) by mixing the polymer with this mixt. on a calender, mixer, kneader or extruder etc.
