Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antitumor agent having high performance with low toxicity, containing a mixture of an organic compound having an amino group and a silyl group with adriamycin. SOLUTION: This antitumor agent is obtained by mixing a compound of formula I or II (R1 -R8 are each H, a 1-10C alkyl, aryl or aralkyl; the pairs of R1 and R2 , and R5 and R6 are respectively bindable to form alkylene, allylene or aralkylene) with adriamycin in a weight ratio of 0.01-500. Although sole adriamycin, as usual antibiotics-based antitumor agent has too strong toxicity, the toxicity of sole adriamycin can relatively be reduced by combinedly using with the compound of the formula I or II in a synergistic action of antitumor characteristic. As the compound of the formula I, 4,7,13,16-tetraethyl-1,1,10,10- tetramethyl-4,7,13,16-tetraaza-1,10-disilacyclooctadecane and as the compound of the formula II, 3,6,12,15-tetraethyl-9,9-dimethyl-3,6,12,15-tetraaza-9- silaheptadecane, are respectively exemplified.
