Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient counter current ion exchange device capable of shortening regeneration time and decreasing the volume of the waste water to be regenerated by easily modifying the conventional ion exchange device. SOLUTION: The counter current type ion exchange device 1 which has panel boards 7, 14 respectively in the upper and lower parts, internal contains ion exchange resin layers 12 and executes downward current water passage and upward current regeneration is equipped with a water collecting device 9 for draining near the center of the lower panel board and is provided with a water collecting and distributing device 2 above this device. The water collecting devices 9 and 2 are embedded with high sp. gr. inert resins 6 having the sp. gr. larger than the sp. gr. of water. The ion exchange resin layers 12 are disposed above the high sp. gr. inert resin layers 6. An upper water collecting and distributing device 3 is disposed near the upper panel board section or the upper panel board section and is provided with a water collecting device 16 for air venting common use as a washing and draining device thereabove. A drift inert resins 15 having the sp. gr. smaller than the sp. gr. of the water are disposed via a space apart 13 above the ion exchange resin layers 12 so as to embed the water collecting devices 3 and 16. |
