Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which is improved in the regularity of luminance. SOLUTION: This device 9 is provided with a dotted print pattern and a light reflecting plate 7 on one main surface of a light guide plate 4 where a fluorescent lamp 5 is arranged and has a liquid crystal panel 3 arranged on the other main surface side across a light diffusing plate 6 and a reflecting plate 8 arranged along the length of the fluorescent lamp 5; and the light which is guided in the light guide plate 4 from the fluorescent lamp 5 is projected from the other main surface and projected on an effective display area of the liquid crystal panel 3. In this case, a plate body 11 which is transmits part of the light is provided inside the light guide plate 4 nearby the fluorescent lamp 5.
