Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To draw a thermal head near to a base stand and to accurately adjust the flatness of the thermal head by relatively simple work by pushing up a radiation plate by using a screw member and a nut member when the flatness of the thermal head is adjusted. SOLUTION: In this thermal head constituted by successively placing a radiation plate 5 and a substrate 1 having a heating resistor row on its upper surface on the upper surface of a base stand 6, through-holes 6a are formed to the base stand 6 in the thickness direction thereof within the region just under the heating resistor row 2 and screw members 7 longer than the thickness of the base stand 6 are attached to the rear surface of the radiation plate 5 and the radiation plate 5 is placed on the base stand 6 so that the screw members 5 attached to the rear surface of the radiation plate pierce the through holes 6a of the base stand 6 and nut members 8 are threaded with the other ends of the screw members 7 to fix the radiation plate 5 to the base stand 6.
