Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a catalyst which has high activity and gives an alkoxylated product of a narrow homologue distribution by reacting a chelate-forming anionic or nonionic phase transfer catalyst with an alkaline earth metal compound in the presence of a compound which can be alkoxylated. SOLUTION: The precursor of an alkoxylation catalyst is obtained by reacting a chelate-forming anionic or nonionic phase transfer catalyst with an alkaline earth metal compound in the presence of a compound which can be alkoxylated. The phase transfer catalyst is a compound which is expressed particularly by a formula of C8 -C22 -alkyl-O(AO)x -B (wherein A is C2 H4 or C3 H7 , B is hydrogen or CH2 COOH etc., (x) is 2-10). Since an alkaline earth metal sulfato complex is highly active, the reaction time of alkoxylation can be reduced largely, and the product indicates very narrow homologue distribution. |
