Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the distortion factor of a chrominance signal inside color equipment, namely, the difference of color reproducibility between the fluorescent characteristics of a CRT and an NTSC broadcasting standard by using two-dimensional chromaticity separation. SOLUTION: An index calculation part 12 executes an arithmetic function for projecting three-dimensional R, G and B chrominance signals into two-dimensional chromaticity areas, outputs an index signal for designating the position of a relevant cell on the two-dimensional chromaticity area composed of a lot of small cells and stores that signal in a 1st look-up table(LUT) 13. A 2nd LUT 14 stores the coefficients of transformation matrix for defining the input/ output relation of R, G and B chrominance signals. A color converting part 15 inputs nine transformation coefficients outputted from the 2nd LUT 14, performs matrix arithmetic to the R, G and B chrominance signals outputted from an inverse gamma correction part 11 and impresses three R, G and B values converted as a result to an RGB gamma correction part 16. |
